Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP is delighted to announce that managing partner Julie Fink has been recognized by Crain’s New York Business for the fourth consecutive year in its 2023 Notable LGBTQIA+ Leaders list. The annual list features “a notably diverse group of enterprising and accomplished individuals who represent a remarkably wide range of organizations, industries and occupations.” Honorees were selected for their demonstrated impact on equality in the workplace and who held leadership roles in professional associations, community work, diversity and inclusion efforts, or similar undertakings.

In a profile of Julie, Crain’s noted that she “represents individuals who are victims of sexual assault and discrimination, and advises other companies on those issues. Beyond her legal work and firm leadership, she is on the board of directors of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and the Family Justice Law Center. [Julie] also serves on the board of Makers, an organization focused on accelerating equity for women in the workplace.”
