NEW YORK, NY, November 3, 2020 – Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP is pleased to announce that founding partner Roberta (“Robbie”) Kaplan has been recognized in City & State New York’s 2020 Women’s Power 100 list. The Women’s Power 100 list honors the 100 most influential New York women in business, health care, education, media, nonprofits, and advocacy. This marks the second consecutive year that City & State has recognized Kaplan in this manner.

In describing Kaplan’s achievements, City & State wrote that “[a]s co-founder of the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, Roberta Kaplan has emerged as a powerful voice against oppression throughout the #MeToo movement. She’s representing President Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump in her allegations that she was swindled out of her inheritance, and author E. Jean Carroll in her defamation suit against Trump regarding an alleged sexual assault. Kaplan also paved the way for the federal government’s recognition of same-sex marriage.”
