NEW YORK, NY, September 1, 2020 – Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP is delighted to announce that partner Sean Hecker has been named a Winning Litigator by The National Law Journal. The lawyers featured in the 2020 special report are recognized as “masters of the courtroom” who “have tackled some of the most widely watched cases of the year.”

Noting his biggest win of last year in NLJ’s special report, Hecker said: “the acquittal our team achieved for Robert Bogucki at trial before Judge Charles Breyer [of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California] is certainly one of my proudest recent achievements. As Judge Breyer noted, he had never previously granted a Rule 29 motion in full before, but did so here after being persuaded that the prosecution was ill-considered and unjust.”
