Ben Hutchinson is the Chief Technology Officer at Kaplan Hecker & Fink. He is responsible for the firm's technology and its commitment to information security.
Ben began his relationship with the firm at its onset, providing outside consulting services and developing the firm's approach to technology that has contributed to its reputation for security and nimbleness. During his four years as a technology consultant, he headed projects for scores of mid-size and enterprise clients in New York spanning multiple industries, including law, venture capital, retail, education and real estate.
Before joining the firm fullt-time as CTO in 2020, Ben was the IT systems manager for Veritas Capital, a private equity firm based in Manhattan.
Ben's experience extends beyond enterprise technologies. Prior to moving to New York, he lived in Bangkok for five years where he was the Pre-Sales Manager for a government-focused IT and telecom systems integrator, and worked in software development for an LA-based real estate company. Ben graduated from UCLA in 2009 with a B.A. in Economics and Sociology.
