Christopher Morel

Christopher Morel is a senior associate at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.

Christopher’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, appeals and public interest and civil rights litigation across a broad spectrum of industries and legal issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Christopher was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore where he represented clients in antitrust, general complex commercial litigation and pro bono matters. In April 2022, Christopher was appointed as a member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on the Judiciary by New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Christopher graduated from Fordham University, magna cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa, and received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Stone Scholar, an articles editor of the Columbia Law Review and the president of the Latino/a Law Student Association. Following law school, Christopher was a law clerk for the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, as well as the Honorable Margo K. Brodie of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
