Dylan Cowit is an Associate at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.

Dylan is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he was a Forum & Features Editor of the Yale Law Journal and a New Student Representative for OutLaws, the law school’s LGBT student group. He was a member of the Housing Clinic of the Jerome N. Frank Legal Services Organization, where he worked on developing litigation to challenge racially discriminatory housing practices in Connecticut. He also served as a research assistant for Professor Reva Siegel on issues of equal protection law and federal antidiscrimination law. While in law school, Dylan interned for Virginia’s Solicitor General and for two Washington, D.C.-based law firms.

Prior to law school, Dylan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in 2016 with a B.A. in History. His thesis analyzed how the Supreme Court repurposed its conception of strict scrutiny from the 1930s through the 1980s.
