Georgia Bartels-Newton is a case manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
Georgia joined the firm from Sidley Austin, where she worked as a Litigation Project Assistant. She has prior experience as a Research Intern for the Urban Institute: Justice Policy Center, where she worked concurrently with the Center for Victim Research. Georgia also spent a summer as a Complaint Counselor for ACLU of Missouri. She volunteered for Uncle Joe’s Peer Counseling, where she was a Peer Counselor and acted as the Executive Director.
Georgia received her B.A from Washington University in St. Louis. During her time at Washington University, Georgia was a Families and Social Inequity Teaching Assistant and a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, an international honor society of sociology.
