Keshav Poddar is a summer associate at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP, and a rising third-year law student at Yale Law School.

At Yale Law School, Keshav is a member of the Advanced Appellate Litigation Clinic, which represents indigent clients pro bono before the federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals, primarily on immigration and prisoners' rights cases. He was also a submissions editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation, and a member of the Thomas Swan Barristers’ Union. 

Last summer, Keshav worked at the New Orleans Public Defenders Office assisting with the representation of indigent defendants charged with felony crimes. Prior to attending law school, Keshav served for two years as a policy advisor to Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo, and as a Field Research Associate in MIT’s Poverty Action Lab.

Keshav graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in 2014 with a B.A. in Government. He has won several awards for his academic achievements, including the Colby Prize, the Rockefeller Prize, and the Rockefeller Memorial Fellowship.
