Majea Fong is a Recruiting Assistant at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.  

Majea joined the firm from Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, where she was a Legal Recruitment and Professional Development Assistant. While at Patterson, Majea assisted with the implementation of the Firm’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives. She has prior experience as a paralegal for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where she provided paralegal support for seven senior, misdemeanor, and felony Assistant District Attorneys and acted as a liaison for the 84th and 91st precinct. Previously, Majea also worked as a Community Liaison for New York State Assemblywoman Helene Weinstein and as a Congressional Intern for Congressman Hakeem Jeffries of the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Majea volunteers for the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, where she is the Associate Editor in Chief for the Communications Cabinet. She received her B.A. from Brooklyn College, where she was a member of the Black Pre-Law Student Association.
