Nick Pavlis is an associate at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
Nick joins the firm after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Paul G. Gardephe of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to law school, Nick worked as a paralegal in the Violent and Organized Crime Unit at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Nick received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review and participated in the criminal defense clinic and the Virginia Innocence Project pro bono clinic. Nick earned his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College, where he received a junior research scholarship and worked in Dartmouth’s Institute for Writing and Rhetoric.
