Trisha Roy is a case manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
Prior to joining the firm, Trisha worked as an intake specialist and part-time paralegal with the Chandra Law Firm. While in that role, Trisha gained experience conducting client interviews, drafting formal complaints, and streamlining the intake process. In 2021, Trisha interned with the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary, where she researched legal and factual background for bill drafting within the Constitution, Civil Rights & Civil Liberties subcommittee. Her work focused on abortion rights and background for the Emmett Till Antilynching Act, which has since been signed into law. Trisha also served as an Attorney Assistant for Hux Law Firm and a Research Intern for Policy Matters Ohio.
Trisha received her B.A., with Honors, in Psychology and Public Management, Leadership and Policy from The Ohio State University Honors Program. Trisha was awarded the Eminence Fellowship, the most prestigious merit-based scholarship at the University and was named a John Glenn Fellow. Trisha also received Honors Research Distinction for her undergraduate thesis on voting rights in the United States of America.
