  • Serving as compliance monitor for a global credit rating agency to review and assess the agency’s compliance with regulations related to records preservation relating to use of off channel modes of communication for official business.
  • Serving as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-approved compliance consultant for a large financial institution in connection with a resolution regarding the institution’s failure to maintain and preserve all written communications in violation of federal securities laws.
  • Serving as the independent compliance consultant for a large multinational bank based in another country, in connection with an SEC/Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) resolution relating to off channel communications at the bank.
  • Representing a large museum in an internal investigation into allegations of misconduct and a review of its anti-harassment policies, leading organization-wide adoption of our recommendations.
  • Representing an oil and gas trader in connection with an internal investigation and potential U.S. civil and criminal enforcement actions relating to certain energy trading at an energy technology company.
