Ian Robertson is a law clerk at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
Prior to joining KHF, Ian served as a Legal Intern in the Capital Habeas Unit at the Federal Defender Services of Idaho. In this role, he assisted attorneys at all stages of client representation, including researching legal issues and drafting legal memoranda, appellate briefs, and other legal writing.
Previously, Ian was a Law Clerk at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and worked as a legal assistant at a boutique trial firm specializing in complex commercial disputes where he served as the lead assistant in two federal jury trials and one federal bench trial.
Ian received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and B.A from University of Virginia.
