Steve Kadish

Steve Kadish is the Director of Information Security at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.

At KHF, Steve assists with all aspects of the firm’s information security programs. Steve works closely with the CIO to deploy information security technology programs that ensure compliance with applicable laws, including developing policies and practices relating to securing confidential and sensitive data.

Prior to joining KHF, Steve was a Senior Information Security Architect for Newsela, an online education platform company. In this role, he led cybersecurity and security operations and conducted compliance reviews of all new and existing vendors. Prior to his tenure at Newsela, he held various positions at several international and domestic banks, where he translated security policies and regulatory requirements into efficient security operations. Steve began his career as a HIPAA Security Officer for a large healthcare non-profit organization.

Steve received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
