Zachary Piaker is an associate at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
Zachary completed clerkships with the Hon. Alison J. Nathan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Hon. Jesse M. Furman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He previously worked as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and represented clients in a range of complex commercial and pro bono matters, including ERISA class-action claims, copyright disputes, commercial arbitration, and § 1983 litigation. Prior to law school, Zachary worked at the Partnership for Public Service's Center for Presidential Transition on efforts to improve the transfer of power between presidential administrations.
Zachary received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was a James Kent Scholar, Online Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and President of the American Constitution Society. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
