October 2, 2020
NEW YORK, NY, October 2, 2020 – Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP is pleased to announce that Benchmark Litigation has named Kaplan Hecker as one of the “Top 10 Boutiques” in the country. This is the second consecutive year the firm has received the recognition, having also been named the 2020 Boutique Firm of the Year. Additionally, the firm has been distinguished again by the publication in its list of “Highly Recommended Law Firm – New York” firms, Benchmark’s highest recognition.
Benchmark has honored Kaplan Hecker attorneys as some of the country’s most distinguished litigators in their 2021 guide. This year the publication has recognized partners Joshua Matz and Jenna Dabbs as Future Stars, joining Managing Partner Julie Fink on the list.
Marshall Miller, who joined the firm in January, has been named for the first time by Benchmark as both a Litigation Star and a National Practice Area Star, White-Collar Crime – underscoring the caliber of Kaplan Hecker’s white-collar defense, investigations, and trial practices.
Additional firm attorneys recognitions include:
- Roberta Kaplan
- National Practice Area Star, General Commercial
- Sean Hecker
- National Practice Area Star, White-Collar Crime
- National Practice Area Star, Securities
Benchmark noted: “Litigation boutique Kaplan Hecker & Fink is viewed by peers as “the place to be” at the moment. “They chose the right moment to form that firm,” opines one. “Their model is superb, and their approach dovetails perfectly with so many of the issues of this time in history.” The firm’s partners continue to demonstrate the fierce commitment to social justice that has been in its DNA since its 2017 founding, and its partners, all formerly with “big” law firms, boast a remarkably trial-tested résumé for their relatively young vintage.”
Benchmark Litigation, the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys, is the only publication to focus exclusively on U.S. litigation.
