Robbie Kaplan appeared on the Today Show with her client E. Jean Carroll to discuss the firm’s successful representation of Carroll against Donald Trump at trial in Carroll's sexual battery and defamation suit, which resulted in a $5 million jury verdict on her behalf.
When discussing the verdict, Carroll told Savannah Guthrie, “I am overwhelmed, overwhelmed with joy and happiness and delight for the women in this country," Carroll said, noting that with her win she had secured a victory for all women across the country. "This is not about the money," she added. "This is about getting my name back.”
Robbie told Savannah that Trump has "no legitimate arguments" for an appeal in the case.
